The Philosophy
Hello, my name is Sarah Jang.
Pearl & Stone began with a love of creating jewelry that feels both beautiful and enduring. Working from my California studio, I design and handcraft each collection with an appreciation for thoughtful design, quality materials, and timeless style.

The concept
It Begins with an Idea.
Every Pearl & Stone collection begins long before the first gemstone is selected.
Ideas are thoughtfully developed and refined until every proportion, curve, and detail feels balanced. From there, gemstones are carefully chosen, materials are tested, and prototypes are created before a design becomes part of the collection.
Unlike many jewelry brands that assemble pre-made components, every Pearl & Stone collection begins as an original design. It is this creative process that gives each piece its distinctive character and timeless appeal.
THE STUDIO
Where Every Piece Comes to Life
Every piece is made in my California studio using traditional jewelry-making techniques. Working in small batches allows me to focus on precision rather than production. From selecting gemstones to the final inspection, every step is completed by hand.
Every image you see in my shop is one I've photographed and edited myself, featuring the actual jewelry I've designed and handcrafted. Nothing is outsourced, from the original design and metalsmithing to the photography, editing, writing, packaging, and customer service. Every aspect of Pearl & Stone reflects my personal vision and attention to detail.
Living and creating in California, I'm continually inspired by the meeting of natural landscapes and modern design. The textures of stone, changing light, and organic forms often influence my work.
