Each Pearl & Stone mala is handcrafted to order using the materials you choose. Every bead is individually double knotted by hand, creating a beautiful drape while enhancing durability and helping protect the gemstones for years to come.


A Classic Mala is handcrafted using one primary gemstone, allowing the natural beauty, color, and character of each stone to take center stage. Elegant and versatile, this timeless design is equally suited for meditation, everyday wear, or as a meaningful gift.

What Is a Mala?


Traditionally, a mala is made with 108 beads plus a larger guru bead and has been used for centuries as a meditation and mindfulness tool for counting mantras during meditation. Today, malas are also worn as meaningful jewelry and a daily reminder of one’s intentions.


Each Pearl & Stone mala measures approximately 42–44 inches in length and can be worn in several ways:

• Double-wrapped necklace

• Wrapped multiple times around the wrist as a bracelet

Handcrafted Construction


Every mala is handcrafted using traditional knotting techniques.


• Each gemstone is individually double knotted by hand for flexibility, durability, and a beautiful natural drape.

• Silk malas are knotted using triple-strand premium 100% silk cord.

• Vegan malas are knotted using double-strand premium waxed poly cord.


This time-intensive construction helps reduce wear between gemstones and, should the cord ever become damaged, helps prevent beads from scattering.

Each mala is handcrafted using genuine natural gemstones.


Because every stone is unique, variations in color, pattern, translucency, inclusions, and natural matrix should be expected. These beautiful differences are part of what makes every mala one of a kind.


Gemstones are approximately 8 mm round beads, though slight variations in size may occur due to the natural cutting and polishing process.


Photos represent the overall color and character of each gemstone but may not be the exact beads used in your mala.
